Mission Statement: 

The Orientation Committe works on helping to create a viable orientation program for entering students.  The activities of this committee play an important role in helping establish goals and programs for first year students.  The chrage given to the Oriention Committee is to help establish and strengthen the GUST 0101 course.  The committee has placed great emphasis upon the direction of need for entering students.

Committee Responsbilities:

• Assist in recruiting faculty to teach, serve and mentor students enrolled in GUST 0101
• Assist in organizing Student Success Seminars
• Participate and lead in the planning for a comprehensive set of orientation initiatives that will result in improvement for student retention and success
