Thomas Dillon

Mr. Dillon is a full-time Electrical Engineer who works at Johnson Space Center in Clear Lake City, TX.  He currently is employed by Jacobs Engineering as the Section Manager of the Avionic Systems Development team in the Engineering Directorate (NASA).

Tom graduated from Carroll College in Helena, MT with a BA in Mathematics (cum laude) having completed an honors thesis in Mathematical Physics.  He then attended graduate school in Mathematics at Montana State University in Bozeman, MT.  While at MSU he taught Trigonometry and Business Calculus.  Next he moved to Houston and after a few years of working he returned to school.  He enrolled in evening classes at the University of Houston - Main Campus and completed a Master of Electrical Engineering degree. 

Dillon has been an adjunct at HCC since January 2004 and has taught many courses in the math department including the following: MATH 0306, 0308, 0312, 1314, 1316, 1324, 1325, 1342, 1350 and 2412.  Check out what his students have to say about his teaching by visiting the website www.ratemyprofessors.com (Search for HCC - All Campuses and then Select Dillon).
