Tamara Harris' Home Page!

A little bit about me! I enjoy teaching adult learners! I truly have a passion for sharing and gaining knowledge from many of the students who enroll in my classes.

I began my college career attending Houston Community College.  After gaining 12 hours of college credit in the summer. I attended Sam Houston State University where I earned a B.S in Psychology and a minor in Business.   I then earned my M.A degree in Counseling from Prairie View A&M University. I later pursued a career in Education, becoming a Certified Teacher and Counselor for the public school system where I gained 11 years of work experience.  In between all of that I worked as an adjunct faculty member for Houston Community College teaching GUST courses where I gained seven years of work experience.

My hobbies include fishing, reading, exercising and spending time with family! My greatest fears...elevators, mice, scary movies and the dark!
