Hello and welcome,
As Director of Telecommunications and Instructional Computing Support for the Southwest College, I supervise all of the technical support staff who keep our instructional technology up and running: our Open Access labs, our Teleconferencing Center, and S-METV, Channel 16, the cable television station for the City of Stafford.
Moreover, I manage the Technology Fee and supervise the Curriculum Innovation Centers at Stafford and West Loop, I am a member of the IT Steering Committe Advisory Council, the Technical Standards Commitee, and I manage special projects at the Southwest College President's discretion. As the Instructional Support administrator, I work very closely with the Instructional Design Coordinaters (IDC) at each of the Curriculum Innovation Centers (CIC) thoughout the HCC District, with the Director of the Instructional Media Center (IMC) and with the Executive Director of Instructional Research and Technology (Distance Education) at3100 Main Street.
Additionally, I teach one face-to-face evening course in the HCC Teacher Education Department and one education course on line via the HCC Distance Education Department. I believe that every administrator should not lose touch with the classroom. Links to the courses are listed below.
