            Extra Tips

            Images

If you wish to add a photo, it is best to use the learning web editor.

First, add and name the image. You can just hit browse, select the image on your computer, and save.

To add the image to the document you must add the web address displayed in the top left window example here is what one of my image displays when I click on it from the contents window; http://learning.swc.hccs.edu/members/joella.robinson/WRLDBUTTON3.jpg/image_view .

Aligning Your Documents

The easiest way to ensure correct alignment is to right or left justify your document.  Remember your are creating documents that will be converted in HTML, and HTML does not recognize tabs.  If you want correctly placed columns then the only way to secure placement is by creating a table.

To create a table just highlight the text and then hit the Table Manu Bar in Word, scroll to convert text to table and that will secure your spacing and alignment.
