Short biography:
Dr. Jaime L. Hernández was born in Puerto
Rico. He holds a Bachelor degree in
Mathematics from the University of Puerto
Rico and a Ph.D. from North Carolina State
University. He then completed a postdoctoral
fellowship from Lousiana State University
in New Orleans and then taught in that city
for 10 years. He joined the full-time math
faculty of HCCS in the fall of 2000. Other
interests include politics, music, opera and
othe performing arts, as well as thrillers and
suspense stories in both print and film.

Reusing an user code or user name on MyMathLab
Students who (a) dropped or failed MATH 0308, 0312 or
1314 OR (b) are taking MATH 0308 AFTER passing MATH
0306 can use their code again by logging in using the
same username and password, and then selecting "Enroll
in a new course" under "Courses you are taking". This
would work for students who drop and add as well.
However, students must have a new code for a course
using a different textbook. This is STRICTLY and ONLY for
students who dropped or failed MATH 0308, 0312, 1314 or
are continuing on to MATH 0308 from MATH 0306. Please
contact MyMathLab Technical Support directly (number given
below) in case of questions or problems. The instructor
cannot assist with issues in the enrollment process or
technical problems.
