I'm originally from Puerto Rico although I was born in Brooklyn, New York.  I came to Houston in 1980 just for 2 years and I'm still here!!!  Houston is my home now, and both of my children are native Houstonians (or Texaricans..).  Both my children are in college now.  My husband and I enjoy traveling to Europe and of course Puerto Rico.  I love everything Spanish as I travel travel there pretty often but have also gone to Paris, Italy, and London and love those places as well.  In my free time, I dabble in cooking and getting together with my friends for some good vino.  I've taught at Gulfton since 1991, and I truly love my job.  I also sponsor the Gulfton International Student Organization (G.I.S.O.).  We organize fun activities during the school year such as bowling, trips to the zoo, NASA, and more.
