Welcome to HCC- Southwest Developmental Studies. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you in pursuit of your educational goals. I teach ENGL 0300 and ENGL 0310- Fundamentals of Grammar and Composition I and II. I also teach GUST 0342- College Reading II.

I completed my Associate of Arts degree here at Houston Community College. I then transferred to the University of Houston where I majored in English and minored in Spanish and completed my Bachelor of Arts degree in English. I continued my studies at the University of Houston and completed the Master of Arts degree in English and focused on Literature with emphasis on the Restoration period in British Literature.

Critical Thinking

The key to critical thinking is taking what you know and applying it to that which is unknown in order to increase your probability of arriving at correct answers or good decisions.
