Mr. Brogdon has taught for Houston Community College for over 20 years. He received his B. A. and M. A. in English from the University of Houston, and pursued musical studies at the University of St. Thomas. He teaches in both the English and Music Departments for Houston Community College. Under a Ford Foundation Grant, he helped develop the Multicultural Literature course (ENGL 2336) offered by HCC, and his interest in multi-disciplinary studies has resulted in an ongoing series of programs entitled Words and Music, which is presented by the Music Department. To promote student interest in the arts and scholarship, Mr. Brogdon offers occasional presentations in a humanities forum for the student body at large.
