Professional Information
Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Bill spent 6 years in the US Army Military Police Corp. He received an A.A. degree, and a B.S. (Business Management) from San Jose State U. in 1965. Bill was employed by Shell Oil Company in 1965 in California, and was transferred to Houston in 1970. He worked in a number of different positions of increasing responsiblity in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, and Corporate Offices. In 1985, he earned his Master of Science in Accountancy at University of Houston, a CPA and a CMA. He retired from Shell in 1991. Bill has been a full-time accounting professor since January, 1992.
