April Field is a faculty member at Gulfton campus, Houston Community College, Houston, Texas, USA.

She has an honors degree in English from Warwick University, UK 1975 and a master’s degree in teaching English as a Second Language to adults from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, Wisconsin, USA  1985.

She has a diploma in teaching from the University of Sydney, Australia 1978 and a certificate in adult learning and professional development from University College London, UK  2005

From 1979 to 1992 she was teaching in the Adult (Im)migrant English Service (AMES) in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

Since 1994, she has been working in the Intensive English Program at the Gulfton campus, in Houston Community College.
