Requirements for Active Participants

Requirements for Active Members in the Honors Program

1) Students will contract to do individualized projects with an instructor of their choice.  While in the honors program, students must complete at least one honors course or contract each semester.  Full-time students are asked to do at least 2 contracts. Students are encouraged, but not required, to use the PTK curriculum as the basis for one honors contract when the topic is relevant to the course they are taking.

2) Students should participate in honors activities.  (These can be PTK activities, attendance at special honors lectures, conferences, other agreed upon activities.)

3) Students should maintain a 3.5 GPA.
